This bar begins in Ben Tre, Vietnam, where lush river deltas and coconut palms shape the flavor of the cacao itself. We partner with Marou, a pioneering bean-to-bar maker on the ground, who works directly with farmers to source, ferment, and dry each harvest with care. They pay well above Fair Trade prices and invest in the communities growing these beans, because great chocolate starts with people who are valued for their craft.
Back in our factory, we take those carefully prepared beans and turn them into a 75% dark chocolate that tells the full story of its origin. The first bite is bold, but not harsh. Notes of toasted warm spice unfold slowly, balanced by a gentle, lingering sweetness.
